The attack of the world trade centre in New York City, on September 11 had made Al-Qaeda very well-known of their existence. People become aware of the illegal and dangerous activities that happening around them and the government become cautious on the security of the country. Not only for the United States, but also for other countries, security had become tight. It opens their eyes that terrorist had gone rouge. The attack had become the worst nightmare for the United States and it created such a chaotic situation. Here, we are going to figure about the impact of September 11 on the world. First, we are going to figure Al-Qaeda’s background. Then we will see how the consequences of September 11 to the American Muslims. It had be denounced by the Muslim leaders from all over the world that the attack of the World Trade Centre is totally sinful and illegal. Due to the event, Muslim scholars had come out with several article commenting on the event and the Islamic legal basis on war (jihad). War (jihad) is permitted in Islamic law, they explained, but only a legitimate head of state can conduct a war. They further argued that there are strict rules in Islamic law governing the conduct of warfare; for example, civilians must not be targeted and property must not be wantonly destroyed.
