Skepticism
Philosophical position holding that the possibility of knowledge is limited either because of the limitations of the mind or because of the inaccessibility of its object. It is more loosely used to denote any questioning attitude.
Materialism
System of thought that explains the nature of the world as entirely dependent on matter, the fundamental and final reality beyond which nothing need be sought.
Theism
View that all observable phenomena are dependent on but distinct from one supreme being. The view usually entails the idea that God is perfect and self-sustained, but also peculiarly involved in the world and its events.
Deism
Belief that a supreme God exists and created the physical universe, and that religious truths can be arrived at by the application of reason alone, without dependence on revelation.
Pantheism
Doctrine that the universe is God and, conversely, that there is no god apart from the substance, forces, and laws manifested in the universe that includes the teaching "God is all, and all is God."
Existentialism
Philosophical ideal centered on the individual and his relationship to the universe or to God which includes the doctrine that individuals create the meaning and essence of their lives.
Postmodernism
Cultural philosophy that accepts the fragmentation of contemporary existence. It tends to accept multiple and even contradicting views of truth, values deconstruction, and challenges a wide variety of traditional cultural values.

Quasi spiritualism devoted to the idea that focused positive thinking coupled with emotion and belief enact the Law of Attraction which can have life-changing results such as increased wealth, health, and happiness.
Religion
Cultural system that creates meaning by establishing symbols relating to beliefs and values. Most employ traditions and sacred histories that are intended to give meaning to and explain the origins of life. Prescribes morals and dictates preferred lifestyles and behaviors usually by authoritative clerical hierarchies and holy writ. Most include the veneration of a deity or deities and dictate holy days, feasts, funerary and matrimonial services as well as spiritual practices.
Belief
Psychological state in which an individual holds an opinion or conviction that a proposition or premise is true. It usually displays confidence in the truth or existence of something that is not immediately susceptible to rigorous proof or disproof.
Weltanschauung
a comprehensive collection of concepts that gives meaning to everything that exists and provides for our place in that universe
Worldview
a comprehensive set of basic beliefs about everything that helps people make sense of their world & make choices for living their lives
Epistemology

The belief that everything has a reason or a special purpose
