Governments are the sole things that will make a country run smooth. When we put a society ruled by a monarchy and a society run by a dictatorship, we can clearly see the similarities and differences that define these two governments. In an absolute monarchy, the country is ruled by a family that will make all of the laws for the people, but in a dictatorship, there is only one singular person that decides the laws for the country. For both of these countries, this means that the people will have no say in any laws, and are forced to follow something they have no control over. Using sources from the internet and putting them side by side, we can compare and contrast the two governments. To start, there are certain similarities that both monarchs and dictatorships have. Both of the leaders of each government are not elected into power, but are born into kingship, or they make themselves leader as dictator. In most governments, laws are made by the cabinet, and can be voted on by the population. In both an absolute monarchy and a dictatorship, laws are made by the leaders, and the population will have no say in the matter.
