Fee-Yean Tan, one of the authors of this paper, is a writer with a PhD in Human Resource Management from the Universiti Utara Malaysia in 2010. She is currently a Senior lecturer with the interests in human resource management, career management and compensation. Aside from lecturing, Tan is also a researcher. Her interests in this area are in areas of career planning and development. Dr. Kulida Kirana Yahya, the other author of this paper obtained her PhD in Human Resource Management from Stratchclyde University located in Glasgow. Her current career entails lecturing different classes in relations to human resource management for both undergraduates as well as postgraduates.
