World War 1 the first war to involve multiple countries in a war, newspapers called it the war to end all wars. Countries gathering up millions of young men to go into battle, and kill each other, generations of young men killed. World War 1 caused Germany to become bankrupt, in making guns and large weapons to kill. The main cause of World War 1 was the assassination of one man called Archduke Franz Ferdinand. Setting off a chain of events leading up to World War 1 that would end with millions dead and wounded for life. Heading for one of the most brutal and violent war this world has ever seen. Ending with millions of people on both sides of the war dead. The main reason World War 1 happened was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, and the countries having the treaties of bonding together if one country went into war. Having agreements to support a country with a small military to help them. Was a good idea, but if the slightest thing happens the whole world is at war. A war that nobody will ever forget for a long time, and the brave men who fought side by side like brothers.
