The Syrian refugee crisis is one of the greatest humanitarian challenges. By failing to stop the war, the world has failed the Syrian people. There have been over 11 million deaths in Syria. Many people have been forced to leave their homes. Most of the refugees are children and widows that have been victims of torture (Collins 2016).
