Why Hair Exotic Color Should be allowed in School

Hair color is a form of expression and individuality. There are so many fun colors and possibilities to explore with hair dye. Why limit yourself to boring natural colors when you can experiment with unique options.
Exotic hair color is not distracting and it represents individuality as well as give you a way to freely express yourself.
Most schools do not allow colored hair unless it is a natural color, as they claim it is a “distraction” to other students and makes the school look bad. If piercings and tattoos are allowed, why isn't exotic hair color? Both can draw attention but neither affect academic success. Wearing brightly colored clothing practically draws the same attention as unnatural hair color does. Schools already get to control how students dress and how they are supposed to behave; why do they have to go so far as to telling students what they can and cannot do to their own body? As far as exotic hair dye making the school look bad, that is not everyone's opinion. If anything, hair color will promote a fun learning environment and an exciting place to learn. Schools should let students experiment with their looks while they're young. Besides, dying your hair doesn't make you a crazy person. Some people have this misconception that people who dye their hair unnatural colors are bad or rebellious people. This is just an assumption that people make and they have no right to judge. Judging people by what they wear or what color they dye their hair just like judging a book by its cover. Unnatural hair dye isn't a bad thing, it’s society that has brainwashed us and made us think that it is socially unacceptable, when in reality it is just fine! Hair color isn't going to affect the way someone acts or who someone truly is. It can change your appearance but it can't change who you really are
