For example, if the have been going to bed at 12 every night, work your body hard through physical games, like basketball, or just exercising more, then go to bed earlier; do not take in anything sugary or anything that has caffeine right before bed, or else you’ll be back at square one. The later school days cut into the valuable time students need for extracurriculars and homework. For example, “A later school day would interfere with tennis and possibly baseball,” explains Ben Zebrowski (Herrington 21). Many students need a more than a couple of hours to practice sports, do homework, eat, and shower, before they go to bed. A sacrifice in their time is not necessary just for the sake of waking up later in the day.
