This paper is written by Natasha Lerner. It is about a traumatic experience that happened to her and how she came back from it. She explains how she has having mental health issues and how they affected her. She is trying to help other people with a similar issue get the help they need.
It all started when she witnessed another student falling from another building of the school. It was extremely traumatic for her. She didn't know if they just fell or were trying to fly. The school tried to distract the children so they wouldn't think about it. After school she tried to explain what she had witnessed to her parents, but couldn't and just burst out into tears.
She didn't know him very well but his death affected her deeply. Whenever she saw a date or something she would try to forget it, if she didn't forget it she felt like something bad would happen. I feel that her condition wasn't merely related to witnessing the student falling from the building. I do not think the title is relevant to the story because it's not just about her feeling alone. There is no flow to the piece and the first and last two paragraphs are not relevant to the paper. Possibly there was something wrong with her home life or she had the anxiety before the incident. I feel she was using this incident as her explanation for her issues nonetheless I believe something else had happened to her. I am sure this incident affected her but if it was just this event I feel that it was an overreaction. I feel her parents were not involved enough in her life, she was one of the last kids to be picked up from school after the incident, her parents didn’t even know what had happened until she explained it to them.
