Beyonce is widely referred to by her enormous fan base as Queen Bey, sometimes just Queen. Despite being very popular in the 2000s, her staying power allowed to dominate the 2010s as well. Beyonce has many iconic songs that could be shown that would do a decent job of showing what was popular in the 2010s. For many reasons, throughout her career Swift has been insulted and ridiculed for her actions. Even so she continued to persevere and make music. “Shake It Off” is definitely one of the songs you think about when Taylor Swift comes to mind whether it’s because you like the message of simply shaking off the hate or Swift intentionally dancing around the music video in a very awkward and self-ridiculing manner.
