Why does a person need to be saved?

The Bible says that only a few people will end up in Heaven and many will receive a wide road to destruction. Even though Jesus paid for everyone’s sins, each person must come to the realization that they are a sinner and need their savior. They have to get to a point where they trust in Jesus and truly believe that He died on the cross just to save them. Romans 5:6-8 says “ For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Christ died for all of humanity so that we would not burn in Hell. In Romans 6:23 is says “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Sin is never allowed to enter the gates of Heaven and all of mankind is filled with sin. Therefore, the whole world would have been doomed if it had not been for Christ suffering on the cross. There is no wavering, if anyone is not completely for God, then he is of the Devil and will end up in Hell for eternity. Man needs to be saved or born again if he wants to escape the Hell that awaits him and also so he can live in accordance with God. The Bible says that you must be born again and God knew that man would fall, so He suffered for them. God provided a means of reconciliation for the world…
