The transformational leader applies to Sonny Garg`s way of thinking because he thinks that the way to create sustainable innovation is to learn employees to think differently and this is exactly what a transformational leader does. The transformational leader recognizes employees their needs and concerns, provides meaning and challenges employees to look at old problems in new ways. He also learns them to believe in their own potential. All these factors combined results in sustainable innovation.

The way Deloitte tries to reduce their bounded rationality is to give their employees basically more information. They try to give this information by giving the employees more ways to connect with each other. This way they can learn from each other and therefore gain more information. With this additional information their rationality gets less limited

Therefore employees are highly educated and know that if they put effort into something this will lead to performance. And because the employees know nowadays competition can come from anywhere and the only way to plan for unexpected challenges by the company is to give employees rewards in the form of more latitude to think as owners and entrepreneurs and giving them even more platforms to learn from, they know their high performance will give a desired outcome. Because the company will give valance in the form of self-improvement. And self-improvement is something that most employees want because they become even better and more competitive. So these 3 factors: knowing u will reach your desired performance if you put effort into it, knowing you will get your desired outcome if you have a good performance and get valance from your outcome all increase employees their motivation and therefore make them more innovative and more flexible to upcoming changes because they simple want to be
