The organization found that of 102 releases from 7 major studios, only 17 included characters identified as gay, lesbian, or bisexual. In addition, a majority of these characters were minor roles or cameos, while some representations were downright slanderous. In the 17 films that included LGBT characters 64.7% included gay male characters, 23.5% contained lesbian characters, and 17.7% comprised of bisexual characters. Male LGBT characters outnumbered female LGBT characters 64% to 36%. This enforces the stereotype that all asians do well in school. Another example is Supernatural, where the only asian character is Kevin Tran, who can also be identified by his intelligence. A majority of media share this characteristic, where their characters are predominantly
