Through the hidden curriculum the interviewee is less inclined to take risks and chances because she was taught to complete work slowly and carefully.

Curriculum was written by subject specialist teachers under direction from the government and education minister.
The people disadvantaged by this include; individuals of low socio-economic class, people whose culture involves learning in a very different way and anybody who does not learn well through language.

The stakeholders who played a key role in the interviewee’s education include; the headmaster, the teachers and the education sector of the Surrey county council.
The interviewee would not change who had input into the education system as she felt the teachers did take into account and incorporate the interests of the children.

All students did ‘craft’ and ‘gardening’ in primary school, so they were not pushed into roles. However, in secondary school girls did domestic science and boys did woodwork.
Out of the interviewee’s class it was mostly girls who were accepted into a Grammar school, so they were more academically successful.
