This region is important in history because they created one of the first forms of write. For the simple fact that this language was one of the first, there were many flaws like but still amazing how many of the first words came to be. Shortly after an official language was established one of the most well know set of rules came to be which are commonly referred to as Hammurabi’s rules. As you could imagine these rules are quite barbaric to newcomers who are more accustomed to more “civilized” manner of punishment. During this time we can also conclude that they’ve begun to comprehend and to favor “brains instead of brass”. The last thing that became more prevalent were pictures of supernatural beings. The thing the region had that drew towards it was the simple fact that it is one of the earliest known civilizations that have all the fundamental characteristic of a civilized civilization. Their religion had the same impact to them as it did to the Egyptians.
