Human Resource Website Analysis Human Resource Management is the process of acquiring, training, appraising, and compensating employees, and of attending to their labor relations, health and safety, and fairness concerns (Dressler, 2013). The primary objective of the Human Resource professional is to balance the needs and goals of both the company and the workforce (Bass, 014). They accomplish this massive task through face to face and electronic interactions. When a company places their human resource requirements on a well-structured web page, it has benefits for both the employee and the human resource professionals.

They have a website that focus on the strategic vision of the organization that can be found at http://www.tbs-sct.gc.ca. It has links to current issues, human resource policies, pay, recruitment and commonly used forms. The website is bolsters tremendous amounts of information, which make it difficult to locate the human resource topic or form you are seeking. Although it provides pay, health, and benefits link, it totally omits the lower echelon of workers. From the Human resource perspective, the website provided very basic information for an employee to begin the health and benefits process. However, it will require a visit to the HR department for assistance in filling out and processing the …show more content…
Their website is located at http://hrcouncil.ca, and it provides current information and issues about working in a nonprofit organization. It also has a Human Resource tab that provides an HR toolkit that allows you to enter as an employee, manager or board member to accommodate your needs. It is easy to navigate to find policy, standards, compensation and recognition information. The manager’s tab focused on strategic vision and resources to assist in managing their employees. Through the Human Resource lens, the website is very thorough is providing policy and standards, but lack processes and procedures. It totally avoided controversial issues, performance management, and complaint procedures. Overall, the website is a great resource for every member of the organization and represents 90% of the Human Resource
