The next step is to place the overstock items on a cart. After placing the items on a cart, the bins need to be scanned. Scanning bins means to physically go to the bins and scan each item with the TC70, which is a handheld device is used to complete daily functions.
As the bins are being scanned there may be items that need to pick or pulled out and taken to the floor and stocked. After the picked items are picked and stocked on the floor, the overstock that is on the cart should be placed in the bins. Scanning bins daily and fixing on hands or product amounts is very important in order for this process to work. Staying focused on your department and making sure it is stocked should be the major focus of those who perform the CAP process every day.

Walmart?s inputs are the frozen and dairy truck, the general merchandise truck and the grocery truck. These are the avenues that the products sold enter the building. The processes method is basically the same for all three inputs, they are unload the truck, break down or separate the pallets, and place the products in the proper place on the sales floor. The outputs stage is having the product ready and available for the customers.
Walmart has several warehouses that provide our merchandise and I am sure that there are some that can provide higher quality products but until they can beat the competition they will most likely not be an
