This excerpt from “Walden” by Henry David Thoreau speaks of a life unlived when it's nearing too late. Thoreau writes about living every day as if it were your last, taking in every chance to enrich and define yourself. How pursuing even the most simple of passions could prove to be worthwhile. I agree in the possibility that it is never too late to do what you’ve dreamt of and bring new perspective when looking into the horizon.

Get out, and do what you’ve always wanted. You can always dream and hope, but you can also be and do. The only thing inhibiting you is yourself. “I know of no more encouraging fact that the unquestionable ability of a man to elevate his like by a conscious endeavor.” So easily can we improve our lives by doing a simple task that makes us happy. Pursue your passion, achieve your dreams, make every moment of your life worth it. “Every man is tasked to make his like even in its details, worthy of contemplation.” Make your life one to hear about. Stories lasting ages and ages for generations to come. Change the way you view the world. Do something that you’ve always dreamt of, for regret is a lot worse than never trying. Stop living with the “infinite expectation of dawn” live as if every day may be your last. Stop expecting, start knowing. Don’t lie waiting for the sun to rise. Get up out of bed and dance underneath the stars. Pursue every dream and passion you’ve had, live as if tomorrow may never arrive, as that's what life is for.
Walden is about the impossibility of an unlived life, if you so chose to get out and live. Stop letting simple days under a mundane sky be what defines you. Open up to new and extravagant detail, a kaleidoscope of ability. When time ticks away, let go of should’ve, would’ve, could've. Instead did, done, and will do can be written across your bucket list. Pursuing your passions is easy as long as you have the means to do so and a full heart. Walden speaks to living a divine enriched life without any regret or never done. It’s impossible to live a life
