Islam says we come into the world without sin. Through the Quran it is stated God has great mercy and compassion. Islam places a greater importance on the physical world therefore that explains why Muslims have made such advances in various fields of science. Therefore, they do not subscribe to the idea that Jesus was the Messiah and the son of God. The holy scripture of Judaism is the Torah.
Christianity developed out of the monotheistic tradition of Judaism. Jesus, the Christ of Christianity, considered by the Christians to be the earthly Son of God (Jehovah) was a Jew in Roman Palestine. Its holy scriptures are the Bible, which includes the Old Testament and the New Testament. Christians do not accept Muhammad as a prophet of God.

India
Muslim Indians are about twelve percent of the Indian population. As a minority, Muslims in India experience a lot of discrimination. Just like in the whole Muslim world there is tension between Sunni and Shia. Each sect has many different schools. India is such a large country, different parts of the country may practice Islam in widely different ways.
