Judaism and Islam are two of the most influential world religions in the history. While Judaism is not as large as islam, but its impact on the world has still been so profound. Judaism and Islam both are called the Abrahamic religions because they trace their history to the ancient figure of Abraham. Both of these religions have slightly different beliefs , two different holy books that is followed by each, and different ways of worshipping
Judaism and Islam both originated in different places, Judaism was originated in what is known today as the Israel and Palestenian territories. On the other hand Islam was founded in what is now Saudi Arabia and the city of Mecca. Judaism was founded by Moses, whereas Islam was founded by Muhammad. But both religions trace their history to Abraham. People who follow Judaism are called Jewish, and people who follow Islam are called Muslims. Jews follow their prophet Moses, who had been chosen by God to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. After wandering in desert for 40 years jews ended up in land called Israel which they call “Gift from God”. Both these books don’t stem from the same source. Torah has undergone many changes, whereas Quran is still the same and hasn’t been changed at all. Quran was received by Prophet Muhammad in Islam to teach the countrymen of Saudi Arabia. The main teachings of Judaism are to live a good life and make a connection with God, the main teachings of Islam are that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. But at the end both books teach to live with peace and do good to others.
