During the early Middle Ages, religion was a fundamental part of daily life. One of these religions was Islam. Islam was spread throughout Medieval Europe by (missionaries of sorts). Islam is the belief in Allah as the only God. Islam was practiced in many regions, originated in ----, practiced for many reasons, practiced in many ways, and practiced everywhere. The Islamic Religion is very interesting because of their rituals when praying. They can pray anywhere, but most of the time, they gather in a mosque, a Muslim place of worship, (that has a minaret tower) to pray together. A muezzin, or caller, chants a prayer five times a day.
