Tourism is marketing of the leisure time and other features of a travel destination, and provision of facilities and services for the pleasure of the travellers and tourists. Customer types vary so the services offered need to change in order to continue making a profit for example a type of change in customers is that in the 1960s teenager’s would not have travelled abroad to go on holiday, but now it is very common for teenagers to do so and most tourist organisations accommodate this. Customer types include business, and professional tourists. Leisure and holiday tourists. Tourists travelling to visit friends and family and also youth tourists including backpackers and gap year travellers. Cultural tourists are people who are interested in religion or other important events within a specific geographical area who have an interest of having a change of their usual environment or having some fun or relaxation usually getting away from the stresses of their modern life.
