To What Extent Did The North And South End Reconstruction

It was 1876 and America was celebrating the 100th anniversary of The Declaration of Independence. During this time the Reconstruction was being formed. This technically means that all slaves in America are free. The North ended reconstruction because of Racism, Government Corruption, and Grants focus on the reconstruction.
1876 was an important time in American history because it celebrated the 100th anniversary of the declaration of independence and it was the election of Rutherford B. Hayes. In that election the 2 people that ran in the south election was Rutherford B. Hayes and Samuel J Tilden. Hays was granted the presidency. She also recalled soldiers in the south. Now the question is “North or South, Who ended the work for fixing America?”
