However, just like there is change in history there is change between the information we see in the two films: ‘Troy’ and ‘Helen of Troy’. The films both portray the history of the Trojan War that Homer talked about in his books, but they both are shown in different ways, have different information, and change some of history that we have read around. Although this may be true it doesn’t make the films any less important it still a part of history and pop culture. In the movie ‘Troy’ they didn’t discuss the aspect of Gods or Goddess were on the other hand ‘Helen of Troy’ is based around the Gods for many of the choices in the film. As the movie begins we see that Paris who is supposed to be killed, but instead the man who is supposed to throw him from a cliff decides to let his fate in the hands of the Gods. We later see that he is saved, and grows up to be a handsome young man. Was he saved because of the Gods? Is he brought back to his real family due to the Gods? These are questions that can be answered in different ways, and there is no right or wrong answer due to everyone 's belief. As the movie goes on we see that he meets three beautiful Goddesses named Hera who says she can give him wealth, Athena who says she can bring him victory and glory, and Aphrodite who grants him the most beautiful women in the world, Helen. The Goddesses bring Paris and Helen together by showing each other the face of their love. This is strange was to fall in love and seems so unreal, but this was a time when people believed in the Gods. Even if something was unusual it was all because of the Gods, and it was meant to be. In this time everyone believed and looked up to the Gods no matter what. This is another reason why Paris was to be killed due to the sign from the Gods as Paris 's true dad seen it as. The Gods were very important and were not supposed to be denied in this time.
