The situational theory of leadership suggests, there are no single leadership styles that work best, but instead it depend on what is going on at the time. What direction is based on the strategies that must be used to secure the task at hand. Situational leadership can be the most useful leadership, because,leaders can adapt to individual styles. This style fits situations" and look at cues" such as the type of task, the nature of the group, and other factors that might contribute to getting the job done.
There has to authentic leadership, which is based on ethics and trust. The situational leadership can be effective leadership methods. The theory states that there is not a single correct leadership approach, but that different situations require different leadership and that a good leader adapts to what is needed. Situation leadership means that people can learn to be effective leaders and advance in the workforce (Fiedler & Chemers, 1984). Situational Leadership Theory is one the most popular known and practiced theory of leadership and managerial effectiveness.
Situational leaders adjust their leadership style according to the behavior and skills level of the employees, he, or she may have a small degree of skill 'and motivation, which requires a leader to direct the workers and make valuable decision (Brown, & Finstue 1993).
