Each child has individual strengths and develops at a different pace. By providing hands on active learning environments, preschools help create lasting building blocks. Gardner talks about the multiple intelligences and how it is very important to understand these to best engage with each child. The benefit of preschool is the ability to focus on specific areas without introducing too many subjects. Focus is on the building blocks and making a lasting impression versus an abundance of superficial knowledge. The purpose of this study is to show the benefits of early exposure to academics and structured environments prior to starting kindergarten. Acknowledging the “learning curve” needed for students with no school or structured facility experience. Accounting for the time it take for students with no school or structures facility experience and children who have only been exposed to a non-structured environment or none at all to become acclimated to the environment prior to absorbing any academic information.
