If the King was aware of the conclusive plans that MacBeth had put in place, I think that the King would have given him something much different than the generous gifts that MacBeth did receive. King Duncan should have given MacBeth a restraining order because that would obligate him to stay away from the Duncan and he would have not been murdered. MacBeth would not have had the chance to murder Duncan, and none of the events that have happened would have happened because the King would still be alive. Instead of giving Banquo a negligible hug, the King should have given Banquo all of the generous gifts that he gave MacBeth. Banquo has shown nothing but loyalty to King Duncan. Also, Banquo continues to give his unending loyalty to the King
