How Did Macbeth Kill Duncan

There many factors that had influenced Macbeth to kill King Duncan. The sister witches, Lady Macbeth, and human nature had all played significant roles into pushing Macbeth to kill King Duncan. First and foremost are the three foul sister witches. They were responsible for planting a seed in Macbeth’s mind that would eventually drive him insane and lead him to killing King Duncan. If it weren’t for the sister witches, Macbeth would gleefully accept his promotion to Thane of Cawdor without contemplating on killing King Duncan. Watching Macbeth at a theatre, seeing the witches would have been terrifying and they probably thought they were real witches too. I think they would have said Macbeth was possessed by some kind of spell after talking to witches and this caused him to kill the king. I think the witches had some responsibility for the death of King Duncan, but only a slight responsibility as all they did was give Macbeth there predictions of Macbeth becoming Thane of Cawdor and King of Scotland. Macbeth then took these predictions and made the decisions himself. The predictions merely aided his…

I think Macbeth wouldn’t have killed Duncan. The reason why, that Macbeth ended up convincing himself that he wouldn’t have to do anything to become king do to the fact that he became thane of Cawdor from doing what he needed because at the end of the war the king hanged the original than of Cawdor and gave the title to Macbeth for being Noble. I do believe that his wife is power hunger and convinced Macbeth to murder the king and frame the guards for his death. In my opinion Macbeth should have not said anything to his wife about what happened and what the witch’s told him then she would have never convinced Macbeth to kill Duncan. Also Duncan’s two sons would have never fled because Duncan would have never died.…

Therefore, he was never under the influence of supernatural powers and so we cannot say that the witches directly caused Macbeth’s own death. Regardless, Macbeth’s spiral out of control was intertwined with the witches’ influence, so it is still difficult to say if they directly caused his death. Because their influence is ambiguous, they do not appear to be a “monstrous threat”. A more effective way of portraying the witches as a menace would be to make them a larger part of the play. The witches only appeared in a few of the scenes, and when they did, we could not easily account for the effects of their actions.…

Lady Macbeth is responsible for the murder of King Duncan. Lady Macbeth had convinced her husband, Macbeth, to murder King Duncan right after he had shared his new objectiveness towards their plan of murder. He had declared that “We will proceed no further in this business”( I,vii,32). Macbeth was steadfast in his decision explaining how Duncan had been nothing but kind to him until Lady Macbeth had inquired him if he was drunk earlier and if he could change his decision so suddenly, would he change his love towards her. Macbeth lost control over himself and lost his identity as a person, and no matter what he did it was going to haunt him for the rest of his days until death.
