The directors used the Kung Fu battle choreography seen in Hong Kong action movies. The fight choreography occurred at various scenes, for example, a martial arts studio, a dull alley, and atop of skyscrapers and structures, making it resemble an epic fight scene. This martial arts choreography was established in China and it has incredible attributes that is seen on different scenes of The Matrix, “spectaclar violence; brilliant choreographed fight sequences; the conflict between cops and [enemies]…”( Barsam and Monaham 441).
