John Fitzgerald Kennedy born May 29, 1917 had a pretty nice life he grew up in a wealthy and healthy home and was constantly being encouraged to reach his potential from his father. He slacked off in school till later years in College. After College he decided to go to the Navy till he was discharged. That is when John F. Kennedy decided he wanted to get into politics too. He would later join the U.S. House of Representatives. In some ways his upbringing and his time in politics before presidency are the things that helped shape him to becoming the great president we had. That lead to John F. Kennedy ending up becoming one of the best presidents America has ever had. He helped prevent us going to war with Cuba. He also encouraged younger people into doing public services. He also made the peace corps. that helped promote world peace. Lastly, he was what started the big push of going to space and got our country to be the first to land on the moon. Sadly, however his Presidency was cut short when he was assassinated on November 21, 1963
When it comes to a list of great presidents, John F. Kennedy will commonly be on that list. For example, when John F. Kennedy went to Catholic school and was failing Latin his dad told him "If I didn 't really feel you had the goods I would be most charitable in my attitude toward your failings, I am not expecting too much, and I will not be disappointed if you don 't turn out to be a real genius, but I think you can be a really worthwhile…
