Nearing the end, Anakin and Padme meet each other on the volcanic planet called Mustafar. Padme pleas with Anakin to leave with her to raise their children; Anakin refuses to leave the dark side, causing Padme to understand that the man she knows has changed. The situation worsens as Anakin spots Obi Wan, convinced that Padme has left him for Obi Wan, he chokes her to near death using his power. This event represents the sudden end of a relationship as Anakin think that Padme has had an affair.
