The program is a good program and could be bad at the same time. The things it teaches children is what parents are supposed to do it adds more excuses for parents to leave their kids at school and not handle the talks they should have. On the other hand, with so many single parents it a good thing for parents that do work and cannot do the talking with their children. The dare program adds safety to schools and police presents which can deter crime in schools.
School safety is an important issue in entering city schools to protect teachers and students the D.A.R.E. officers receive extracts training on how to deal with students and drugs. The officers have to draw up class curriculums for the different age groups in their schools. D.A.R.E. has expanded to all public school ages not only teaching drug-awareness training isn’t just about drugs. D.A.R.E. officers also teach social and emotional leads to drug problems. The D.A.R.E. teaches social skills.
Many saw the D.A.R.E. program as only teaching drug and violence the overhauled the program years ago to teach social skills like decision-making skills which once again should be done by parents. Obviously is not being in the homes so the government

The online safety program for D.A.R.E. teaches kids how to come to parents with things they may see online. The other aspect is how the internet is used by predators to find victims. It also has expanded to reaching out to parents to be tough the same issues the parents must be aware of this from birth. This day and age predators use even parent post to find their prayers.
