In D.A.R.E. my class and I have learned a lot about being safe around drugs, cigarettes, bullies and lots of other cases. Of course, we learned what D.A.R.E. means. D=Define, A=Assess, R=Respond, and E=Evaluate. If a friend or anyone asks you to smoke or drink you can walk away, change the subject, or you can say no. Never do drugs because it can cause lots of health effects. If you even need to report something or need help go to a trusted adult. Never use tobacco because over 400,000 Americans die from tobacco-related causes each year. If you use alcohol you could be in the 75,000 people who die from alcohol each year in the U.S. I will never ever smoke cigarettes because of all the chemicals in cigarettes.
