May 3rd, 2015 Giving Up? You could feel like giving up because it is the easy answer and less painful, but if you can change the situation even a little it is worth to not give up. During the Holocaust around 1933 to 1945, people resisted against the Nazis to help fight and protect for the Jews who could not.Three brothers who had a rough childhood because of their lost loved ones, still fought to keep as many Jews alive as they possibly could. One resistance group that was sent and trained by the British, would actually jump out of a plane to fight the Nazis and help the Jews who were held captive. And another group would be organized and planned to attack Nazis , later leading many Jews to be able to escape later. The Bielski Brothers, Jewish Parachutist, and FPO did not give up when they were resisting against the Nazis; the brothers wanted to save as many people, the Parachutist would risk anything to save and protect people, and FPO was a group that wanted to resist against the Germans to the point the successfully attacked. …show more content…
Their goal was to save as many people as possible, no matter what they looked like or how old they were. The brother Tuvia said, "I would rather save one old Jewish woman than kill 10 Nazi soldiers." This shows that even though fighting back can help, it is more important to save a life. The way that the brothers helped the resistance is by after they left to the forest they started to expand from just their neighbors to a hidden community that had saved so many Jews(around 1200 Jews[The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum). With their act of being caring and kindness lead them to save tons of lives and some-like peacufully resist against
