In Amsterdam, 1940 the Franks, Van Daans, and Mr.Dussel went into hiding in the Annex. Mr.Kraler and Miep has generously volunteered to help these jews. If it wasn't for these two generous people the Franks, Van Daans, and Mr.Dussel would most likely be in a concentration camp. Mr.Frank owned a business and Mr.Kraler had to take care of it until the war was over. There were strict rules in the Annex to prevent them getting caught. Like not speaking at certain hours or using the toilet water at certain times. Some people in the house of the Annex made sacrifices, had courage, and compassion.
