Individuals generated different opinions regarding immigration because of distinctive reasons. To examine individuals’ attitude towards immigrants is importance to identify the factors that influences such opinions. I would like to investigate how does economic circumstances can influence attitude towards immigration in Finland. It is an ordinal scales that measures attitudes with a scale of 0-10 which values 0- worse place to live --10 better place to live. I will assess my independent variable by individual’s economic circumstance with the question Felling about household income’s nowadays. This question ranges from 4 ordinal categories which are comfortably on present income, coping on present income, difficult on present income, and very difficult on present income. I tend to find a relation between attitude toward immigration and economy circumstances, given that people with a good economic circumstances are more likely to have positive attitude towards immigrants than those individuals with a difficult economy circumstances. My hypothesis is that individuals that report a comfortable economy situation are more likely to have positive attitude towards immigrants than those individuals with very difficult economy situation. Since people with a good economic circumstances they do not feel threat by immigrant groups they may have favorable attitudes toward immigrant. While individuals that are having very difficult economic circumstances have less favorable attitude towards immigrant as the view them as competition and
