David was a man after God’s own heart (Acts 13:22), and one of the most talented characters of the Old Testament. He was not only a king, he was a poet, a musician, a mighty warrior and humble. David was brave enough to kill a lion and a bear, and noble enough that he refused to kill Saul, for he was God’s anointed. (I Samuel 26:23)
