Animal testing is a global issue, which has gained sufficient traction over the years as cruel, and a method that needs to be stopped. Though there are pros, such as efforts to make products safe for human use and to save lives, there is no excuse to treating animals in such horrendous ways. Animal Experimentation is Ridiculous “Chimpanzees share 99% of their DNA with humans, and mice are 98% genetically similar to humans” (Goodall). If most of these animals that are being tested on are genetically related to humans, then what may they be feeling. Humans get sad when they are lonely and go through pain. It is the exact same for those animals sitting in cages wondering when all the pain is going to be over. Animal experimentation is ridiculous, most products tested are never put on the shelves and most products have different effects on humans, there is a large amount of animals being tested on for no reason, and animals are feeling vulnerable every second they are in a cage.…

Animal testing is no longer effective in today’s society. Testing has no purpose, it has been said many a time that it is useless and unnecessary. There is a higher chance of flipping a coin and being accurate in a test than actually doing the research and testing on animals. To see if a new product is safe it goes through a whole process where animals are being mistreated for the benefits of humans. Animals in experiments today are bred for the sole purpose of the particular experiment, so once the experiment ends, the animals have no value, and end up getting euthanized, because they are useless to scientists.…

Few examples exist that truly show how cruel people can be, and animal testing is high on the list. Imagine a beloved animal, caged in stainless steel, shaking, being analyzed for the effects of a new ingredient in a beauty product. Millions are drawn to protest the tests conducted for vanity, and some countries have already placed laws in action to ban the practice. The fight continues in the U.S. for the welfare of animals that are still undergoing vile tests so that people can have cosmetic products. The cry for justice grows louder as new technology allows far more accurate testing to be conducted, without ever involving innocent animals that will live out their lives and likely die in the laboratories, often as a result of the tests.…
