The 2016 elections are heating up in terms of we are getting closer to find out who will be the two nominees to run for president in November. This is an exciting season because we get to see each candidate 's debate on their proposals, policies, and views about different issues facing our country. Today the presidential election have a different taste as for many this is the most entertaining one yet. They have to debate, show and support their claims in order to get the vote of the people. What is a debate exactly? It is like a formal way to argue about issues with two teams having opposite opinions and trying to get to the bottom of it. Based on Karl Popper, he explains “I may be wrong and you may be right and, by an effort, we may get nearer the truth.”
In the political process and debates, there are many issues the people want to see what are the candidates position. Climate change being one of them, but the people or the majority don’t want to see a debate about that any more. In a recent poll from Monmouth University, they found in a survey that 70 percent of Americans believe the climate is as of now changing. Even the politicians are changing their mind about it. According to Pew Research Center, there are more republicans who believed there 's solid evidence that earth has been warming compare to the minority republicans who believe otherwise.
