The N8tive Zone is the way the human body 's metabolism is originally designed to be fueled. In the words of Leonardo da Vinci, “Medicine is the restoration of discordant elements; sickness is the discord of the elements infused into the living body” (search).These two metabolic pathways control how the human body’s energy sources are used. Once in the N8tive Zone, the body will increase performance mostly due to controlled clean nutrients, balancing of hormones, and improved cell signaling. This is due to more energy supplied by Ketone Bodies instead of Glucose. The Keto Diet is the best diet for the human body compared to standard diets due to the science proven benefits of ketosis, preventable diseases, increased bodily performance and mental clarity. The majority of the world has been told a high carbohydrate diet is healthy, when it is really only stacking up diseases & speeding society closer to the death process. Before digging deep into this topic, one needs to understand Ketosis and Glycolysis are the two metabolic pathways the human body’s use to turn exogenous food into endogenous cellular energy fueling the human body with cellular energy throughout the day. Ketosis is the metabolic state where a body’s energy is generated from ketone bodies. Ketone bodies are the energy produced when a fatty acid is broken down.
