The Constitution outlines the functions and responsibilities of the branches of government. In addition, the Constitution describes the relationship of the states to the federal government. Inside the Constitution, is the Bill of Rights protecting American citizens from the government. Now, the American Solider swears or affirms that they will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic. It would be an honor and privilege to lead the American Solider to accomplish this task. My childhood, certain important life events, and work experience provides a solid foundation to accomplish this mission.
I was born on 21 September 1983 in Columbus, Georgia to Lawrence and Nellie Ford. They instilled and cultivated a superior work ethic by compelling me to work on my grandfather’s farm. See, there are no days off on a farm because the livestock has to be taken care of on holidays and even in extreme weather conditions. The no excuse method of taking care of live stock is similar to taking care of the soldiers in the army. A soldier’s success and failures is the direct result from my actions. I will be in charge of leading the people who defend the Constitution and the American way of life.
