There will be no effective, affordable, or safe drug to cure or prevent obesity. To Americans everywhere, the superior, most productive to cure obesity is a positive behavior with diet and exercise. However, to many college and university leaders helping solve health and obesity on campus is outside the purview of higher education. Or even some colleges/universities assemble biomedical teams to conduct research on obesity throughout the nation they often do not see the problem of obesity on their own campus. (Sparling). “Excess weight diminishes almost every aspect of your health. Being overweight can lead to several deadly diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and some cancers. Obesity also decreases the quality and length of life.” (Chan). With this being said, the obesity problem should defiantly be a concern for college and university’s leaders. On top of all these problems, gaining weight is not just a psychical health problem, it is a mental health problem as well. With gaining weight, this can lead to student’s self-confidence dropping and they start to stress because of this weight they put on. Not only the stress of putting on weight, but the stress of social pressures and college assignments are already a huge factor. The stress gained from all of this leads to a loss of control,
