Today in our society women deal with a very controversial topic, breastfeeding in public. Many women already struggle enough with breastfeeding and now they also have to listen to the criticism of breastfeeding in public places. Breastfeeding should be allowed in public places because it makes it much easier for a mother, it is vital for the baby’s nutrition and health. There are many logistical, human rights, and financial reasons why it is okay to nurse. For example, you wouldn 't have to worry about buying bottles, and breast pumps that are not necessary. For logistical reasons babies can get nipple confusion as well. The baby also has the right to be nursed in a clean and sanitary place, hence not the dirty restrooms. I believe nursing mothers should feel free to breastfeed their baby out in public because it is a natural thing that has been done for over one hundred fifty thousand years. Many people believe mothers should just stay home and nurse, but mothers have a life outside their home. They go out to shop at the mall, walk to the park, and go to the grocery store. So why should they be forced to go to the smelly dirty restrooms or stay home and breastfeed. Trust me mom’s do not nurse in public so they can seduce other husbands with their leaky milk filled breasts. They do it because their baby is hungry.
