The 1969 Apollo 11 mission was one of the many great things, we Americans, have accomplished. The launch affected many people in different ways which resulted in many forms of expression, one of the most popular forms was writing. There were many different pieces on this topic but some of the better known ones are “Man Takes First Steps on the Moon” , “In Event of Moon Disaster” , “The July 16, 1969, Launch: A Symbol of Man’s Greatness” and of course the very controversial cartoon “Transported” which features a man watching the news on the moon about the terrible things happening in our very world today.
