How did they come about, what is the purpose, does standardize test benefit students, teachers or schools and are they truly beneficial to my child’s education?
Monitoring academic standard progress, meeting the educational needs of low-achieving children, closing the achievement gap between high- and low-performing children, holding schools, having accountability for local educational agencies, and States accountable for improving the academic achievement of all students, distributing and targeting resources sufficiently, accountability ,improving and strengthening teaching, and learning by using State assessment systems , To establish an equal and fair testing, the standardize test is a universal test on core standards per grade. Standardized test sanctions educators to compare scores to students within the same school and across schools.

Standardize Testing
Being completely honest, I do not know much about standardized test. I remember having to take them as a student in elementary and junior high. I knew that I would not be receiving a letter grade on these tests. I remember never stressing about taking the test. To be honest if I did not understand the question I was the kid that just made a design on the answer sheet. I absolutely was not aware of the reasoning or purpose of the tests.
