Malala was very passionate about equal rights for girls education. Unfortunately the taliban did not appreciate that. So the taliban decided to attack malala. According to Wikipedia, On October 9th of 2012 Malala had gotten shot in her head. Fortunately she survived. Malala was very courageous to speak about this.
