Malala Yousafzai was a young woman who stood up for what she believed in. She was not happy with the education woman her age were getting. She thought that in Pakistan women deserved more and better education. On her walk home from school one day a Taliban gunman shot her in the head. She survived the gunshot and continued on with her beliefs. She continues to speak out upon women's education in Pakistan. She was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2013 and 2014. Malala decided to do what is right and take action, she did not decide to sit back and watch it happen, which would have been the easier thing to do. In “The Right Thing” by Mandisa the song explains how the person is willing to do nothing because times are tough, however later in the song they say help will come when help is needed, this inspires them to do what is right and carry on. In all three of these sources everybody has two options, the option to do nothing which is the easy choice, or the option to do what is right but more difficult. John Proctor, Malala Yousafzai, and the writer of the song “The Right Thing” all chose to do what is right. This shows how one should always do what is right, not what is
