Techfite Corporate Culture Case Study

TechFite, known for its technological innovations in the areas of recreational equipment, has recently opened a new facility in Dellberg. Techfite prides itself for its efforts to maintain a “culture of workplace collaboration,” leadership development, employee empowerment, corporate decision making, and takes pride in its community involvement.
In an effort to maintain a corporate culture conducive to increased productivity, improved employee morale, and increased societal influence, I propose the following policies be adopted, which will have tremendous impact on the culture of TechFite as a whole:

• Institution of a ceiling on bonuses paid out to top executives, with the additional funds being diverted to opening more full time positions, benefits, and community action programs.
• Establishment of 50% more full-time positions with health coverage, retirement benefits, and family leave programs.
• Establishment of incentive program to promote innovation and a sense of corporate unity.

The institution of a ceiling on these bonuses will allow the additional funds to be directed toward creation of more full time positions within the current workforce, as well as making available the funding of low cost health plans, retirement funds, and family leave programs. These programs are vital to the profits of a company, in that a healthy workforce will reduce absenteeism due to illness, and increase productivity, which in turn increases profits. In addition to the overall physical health of the workforce, these benefits will be an incentive for a broader, more skilled pool of applicants, should the need arise, as well as boost the company moral among the workers which will also improve the organizational
