Summary: Sexual Harassment In Canada

To conclude, women in Canada are suffering from continuous sexual harassment within their workplace. Their work lives are being affected as well as their physical and psychological well-being. It is evident that policies emplaced are not majorly benefiting this situation. The Canadian Labour Code as well as the Canadian Human Rights Act should be amended to properly incorporate sexual harassment within a working environment. Other policies should also be constructed to support women who have been sexually harassed and require outside resources, such as therapy and support groups. Using these recommendations along with pending bill 132 can greatly benefit all women within Canada, creating a safer and more pleasant society.
