This study is the fourth performed in a series examining the maintenance and turnover of music instructors utilizing descriptive information from the National Center for Educational Statistics. Hancock distinguished records for music educators in the Teacher Follow-Up Survey and determined how they felt about their professions one year after moving to an alternate school or leaving teaching as a whole.
